Premium Avon tyres in store by WheelAlignmentReading.co.uk? Designing a winter tyre that can excel in every discipline is difficult. Tyre makers juggle compound, tread design and carcass construction to find the elusive sweet spot where the rubber can cut through ice and slush, find grip in all conditions – whether slippery or dry – and serve up ride comfort, peace and quiet for drivers. Oh, and tyres must also last a long time and not disintegrate when the temperature climbs. It’s a tough gig. These are often conflicting goals; if you improve a tyre’s efficiency, for example, grip in wet conditions decreases – and vice versa. If you reduce the profile depth for more steering precision, the tyre will float faster. If you design more slats – or sipes – in the profile to improve grip on snow, dry grip becomes worse. In short: all-rounders are the exception.

The Prime3 was one of the newest tyres in our test, launched in 2016 to replace the Ventus Prime2. Following its debut, we compared it with the Goodyear EfficientGrip and found them hard to separate, and the same was true in our latest tests. Results were nearly identical in wet conditions, while the Prime3 was just ahead in the dry and for comfort and cost. It was joint first around the dry handling circuit and also managed second place in the dry braking test. It felt the sharpest, too, reducing the amount of steering input required in corners. It was more prone to aquaplaning, though, particularly when turning a corner, and a relative lack of balance meant the back of the car could begin to slide. A wet braking distance of around five metres separated the Hankook from the winning tyre, while tyre noise was middling and it came ninth for fuel-efficiency. Read extra info at Tyres Reading.
Instead, go check out last year’s video, our mega tyre test, and the long term test of the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport vs the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, they’re all linked in the description. The model was released in 2015 and is positioned as U-UHP (Ultra-Ultra High Performance). It received an asymmetric tread design and combines two popular products of the German concern: the simple SportContact 5P and oriented on racing tracks – ContiForceContact. Such concept was applied later in the Continental PremiumContact 6. To guarantee the reliability and high performance at speed up to 350 km/h the engineers used «Aralon 350» – a layer of nylon yarns interwoven with two layers of aramid, that is an additional layer of steel belt. It is a great choice for an aggressive and fast ride from one of the tire market leaders.
Since the company deals with a wide variety of cars and its accessories, therefore it has technical collaboration with these companies. The company only sells the best models of tyres and other components that are manufactured by the original companies. That is one big difference that you can notice while getting your car served at Wheel Alignment Reading. However, the price of the original accessories and components are higher than the pirated version. Due to the quality issues, you should be very careful about not making any choices.
