Think of the “growth” of a helium balloon, which expands quickly, but is ultimately fragile, empty, and easily deflated. By flying too high the balloon dooms itself to certain destruction. Strive to be more like the giant sequoia tree, which grows slowly but is strong and secure.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven, and His future return in power and glory. We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin and spiritual death through disobedience.
